Granting the tax exemption to the NBK’s 100th flick Gautamiputra Satakarni has become the talk of the industry and now it took a new turn as this decision was challenged in the court.
As per the latest updates, a petitioner filed a petition challenging the decision of two state governments giving the tax exemption to GPSK. Petitioner questioned the implementation of tax exemption as if any film got this special category then the ticket cost should be cut down.
However, the ticket cost hasn’t been reduced to this film in two states and this point became vital in this case. After examining the case, the High court issued the orders for the two Telugu states to come up with the full details regarding this case.
The state governments yet to respond on this issue and if the petitioner wins the case then GPSK film is going to get the empty hand from two Telugu state governments.
