The Sankranthi mania already started in the two Telugu speaking states as Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 & Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni movies are gearing up for releases.
At this juncture, Andhra Pradesh DGP Sambasiva Rao held a key meeting with 13 districts Police officials in the wake of these film releases. He asked the fans not to indulge in any unlawful activities and Police will take stringent action if anyone crosses the line.
He also said they won’t allow any rallies, events or any other activities on the release dates and they should get permissions prior to the events.
On the whole, Police has been taking the precautionary measures to keep the law & order in place.
