Director Krish while concluding his speech at Gautamiputra Satakarni audio launch stated, ‘The film is arriving for Sankranthi, Khabardar!’ One section of media speculated rumors affirming ‘the Khabardar’ was targeted at megastar Chiranjeevi who is also coming for Sankranthi with his 150th film Khaidi No 150.
“I request all dear friends who spread my words faultily. I uttered the word with pure anguish for not giving place for Telugu nativity in the history. I’m telling this heartfully. I used the word ‘Khabardar’ for sense of levity on Telugus who lived as Madrasis for ages.
My second film Vedam was with my closest friend Allu Arjun. My fourth film Kanche was with Varun Tej. Ram Charan is very close to me before I entered the industry. Chiranjeevi is a great person invited me to his residence, hugged me, analyzed each and every scene in Kanche and congratulated me, post release of the film. He is an inspiration to me. Please don’t look for flaws in my words. Thank you,” clarified Krish.
Interim, Gautamiputra Satakarni starring Balakrishna, Shriya Saran and Hema Malini is scheduled for worldwide release in January second week.
