In the last year or so, measures to handle piracy are happening on war footing and to some extent the results are seen with some big movies getting protection. However, fact remains that piracy continues to dominate and has its fangs spread across.
One movie which has arrived with a lot of promise now looks to fall victim to this menace. We are talking about the Bollywood release Dangal featuring Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan. The film opened with huge response and amassed nearly 30 crores right on release day.
However, it doesn’t have any visual grandeur and is more content and drama based. So, the trade analysts feel most of the people will want to watch it at home. On the other hand, pirated copies of the film are already online and this is causing a huge dent to the movie collections.
