Some of you may not be able to figure it out but if you are a cine buff you can immediately recall the context of the Telugu word ‘Bhangima’. This is from the masterpiece classic Sagara Sangamam wherein a young boy says ‘Bhangima’ and takes some weird pictures of Kamal Haasan.
That brought ripples of laughter among the audience at that time. Cut to the present, your mobile phone has got a powerful camera. Yet, there are a few who end up taking ‘Bhangima’. This is something the noted writer Balabhadrapatruni Ramani experienced.
It is heard that she came across Devineni Prasad, one of the producers of the magnum opus Baahubali and wanted to take a picture. She put out that experience on Facebook like this-
I am meeting Bahubali producer Chinna (Devineni Prasad) daily at Arka Media when I go for serial sittings. So yesterday I decided to take a picture with him. As it is, he is a shy man but still he said yes coyly. I asked one enthusiastic director standing nearby to take the picture and this is the result. That is why, always depend on selfies friends.
