If you were a star hero who belonged to the 80s and 90s you would leave it to the likes of living legend Amitabh Bachchan, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Style Samrat Rajnikanth to quote some astronomical figures as their remuneration. But things have changed today.
All those who belong to the top league are drawing mind boggling pay cheques. In Tollywood, a star hero’s remuneration is touching Rs 18 to 20 crores and the open secret is, only 40% is white and the rest is black. So, the recent ban of 500 and 1000 rupee notes is a death blow.
Given that, some are now speculating that the star heroes need to reduce their remuneration from double digit to something like 6 to 7 crores at the most and then they can take share from profits. The big question is, will they really resort to this or come up with another alternative.
