In what can be called as one of the most shocking and historic decisions ever made by a Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s announcement that the 500 and 1000 rupee notes are banned with immediate effect has sent some major ripples in the black money community.
Yet again, even the film fraternity is going to bear the brunt of this. Apparently, some films shootings will stop because they are being made with black money. It is a normal pattern to see movies being made with some black money investment.
Even if it is white money, the ATMs are closed and banks would be flooded with crowds so going and getting money is tough. That way, the film shootings will suffer due to this currency issue. The filmnagar folks say the shoots will be kept on hold for 4-5 days for sure.
