Bollywood’s celebrated director and producer Karan Johar has come up with another romantic entertainer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles as Diwali treat this year.
The film had quite some pre release tensions because of the Uri attacks incident and tensions mounting between India and Pakistan. The main reason for the film’s ban requests are because it had the Pakistani actor Fawadh Khan in a pivotal role.

But the government of India offered its helping hand to the film’s unit by ensuring smooth release nationwide and yet, protests happened in Bengal by the prominent Hindu organization Bajrang Dal. The members gathered in big groups near major multiplexes in Kolkata and protested that the film’s screening should be stopped.
However, the protest was peaceful and the police was keeping the situation under control. There were no violent incidents reported anywhere during these protests. We will have to wait and see whether these protests impacted the film’s Box Office collections once the reports are out.
