The very mention of the name Pakistan tends to activate the heat in our blood owing to the recent terrorist attacks and the mayhem they are causing in Kashmir. However, cinema industry is one field which is not blocked by such barriers.
In lieu of that, many films are made in India with some Pakistani connection. This time, it is the story of the well known author, writer and playwright Saadat Hasan Manto and this is being helmed by the noted actress Nandita Das. The shooting will take place in Delhi.
Since Manto hailed from Lahore, Pakistan it is heard that Nandita has decided to erect a special set in Delhi which would look like Lahore. The title role would be essayed by the smooth talent Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with Rasika Duggal.
