When you earn the tag of a talented and successful director you start focusing on creating original stories and scripts. However, there is one director who has decided to take the safer route by going for a proven script and there is an interesting side to it.
The director in discussion is the serious eyed filmmaker Harish Shankar and news is that he is going to direct and produce a new movie which would be the remake of the Bollywood flick Special 26. The original had charming star Akshay Kumar along with our very own Kajal.
Incidentally, the story is based on the infamous Opera House Heist which took place in Mumbai in the year 1987. It remains to be seen whether Harish would tweak the script for further nativity. In a way, this is the first time he is going for a real life incident as a film story.
