Srikanth’s Mental film has been the most disputed project in hero Srikanth's career. After the initial 'Mental Police' title controversy and the release postponement issue later, it is now the film's "director" who has curtain-raised a new controversy.
Going into the details, Mental movie director Babji alleges that though he directed the film and has been working on the project from the past one and half year, he was not credited in the title cards of the final copy and instead it was changed to someone else name 'Basheed'. Babji added that he even invested Rs 5lakhs in the film and now he is totally cheated.
Babji has earlier requested hero Srikanth to look into this matter but nothing happened in his favor. Stating that only producer has the right to change the director’s name in the titles even Producers’ Council clarified that they can act only on the complaint of the producer. Meanwhile, Babji has already passed an ultimatum that he shall commit suicide in front of the producer's house if he is not credited as 'director' in the film.
Well we have to wait and see how this issue will settle down.
