Few weeks ago you would have noticed that a lot of hype and hoopla was surrounding the release of the magnum opus Baahubali in the country of China. The push was strong because the film released all over China and was expected to strike gold there.
However, after the film released it turned out that there were no collections because films with such grandeur have come in plenty in China. The Bollywood movie PK worked there because of the interesting concept and a lot of contemporary nativity element.
In Baahubali, the monarchial concept is nothing new for the Chinese. Based on this experience, it is now heard that the makers have decided not to target China for Baahubali-2 and they are now working on plans to score it big without China market in purview. Let us wish this new plan works.
