Young director Tarun Bhaskar Dhassyam’s latest film Pelli Choopulu became talk of the town overnight for its fresh taking, brilliant characterizations and unique soundtrack. The film fetched great response from many celebrities and now, the brilliant Hyderabadi cricketer Azharuddin also heaped praises on this flick.
The former Indian Cricket Team captain praised the film and said that it was after 23 years he happened to watch a Telugu film. While the last Telugu film he watched was EVV Satyanarayana’s comedy classic Jamba Lakadi Pamba, it was now he watched this fresh entertainer. The cricketer met producer Raj Kandukuri and appreciated the efforts in bringing a feel good film.
Apparently, Azhar’s son recommended this film to him and he said that it was refreshing to watch a brilliant Telugu film after ages!
