Despite the lukewarm response, Superstar Rajnikanth’s latest offering Kabali collected 800 crore worldwide by becoming the first Indian film to do so. Going by such tremendous response, the director Pa.Ranjith announced that there will be a sequel for this film and he is currently penning down a story.
It was said that Pa.Ranjith is making an interesting film with Suriya next but with the hero preferring another film directed by Muttaiah, the director’s plan is temporarily at halt. In the meantime, there was a rumor that Ilayathalapathy Vijay might act in Kabali-2 to give more mileage but even that proved to be just a rumor.
But now the latest buzz says that Rajni’s son-in-law Dhanush will not only be producing the film under the banner Wunderbar films. This banner has delivered very good success rate till now and this would sure add more anticipations on Kabali-2!
