From a very long time, the film industry was ruined with one major menace and it is piracy. Each year, thousands of crores were lost due to the piracy issue and several appeals were made by film fraternity members to governments and public alike.
But now, the government has entered the scene and it is putting an iron foot on the pirates. As a result, the change is being seen even in Tollywood. Last Friday, the film Chuttalabbayi featuring Lovely Rocking Star Aadi hit the screens and got negative talk.
While many expected this would sink without a trace, the collections are steady. The main reason for that is lack of piracy. This is prompting the crowds to come and watch the movie in theatres. The same worked for even Pelli Choopulu and Bichchagadu as well.
