Popular Kannada actress Ramya is currently booked under Sedition Act for her comments over neighboring country Pakistan.
Going into the details, actress and Ex-MP Ramya recently visited Islamabad, Pakistan on behalf of India for the SAARC summit and after returning to India she commented that “Pakistan is not a hell. People here are very affable & their hospitality is great”. However these comments didn’t go well with a lawyer from Karnataka who filed a sedition case against Ramya in Bengaluru.
In response to this case, Ramya clearly stated that she stands by her earlier comments and will not apologize on this issue whatsoever. Meanwhile a heated discussion about her comments is going on in social media.
