There are no two words when we say the small screen circuit has dominated the Indian mindset in a big way. In that, the TV serials and soaps have created a major impact on the psyche of the Indian housewives who have got influenced by all the happenings in the serial.
While they are showing the same reflection in real life, here is another issue which came up. It is heard that a small village in Bangladesh was watching a dubbed Indian serial named ‘Kiranmala’. Among the crowd, two men got into an argument on the story.
This led to some scuffle and within no time the entire place became a battlefield. Eventually, police came and used rubber bullets and tear gas to dispel the crowd. This led to injuries among hundred people. This fight has raised eyebrows across many segments as to the negative impact of the TV serials. It remains to be seen whether any concrete action would be taken on this.
