Victory Venkatesh’s Babu Bangaram opened to full houses on Friday and as per latest trade reports, BB enjoyed highest openings in Venkatesh’s career.
On the first day, Babu Bangaram collected more than Rs 5.5 Cr (Share) & around Rs 7.2 Cr (Gross) in the two Telugu speaking states with a total of Rs 9 Cr (Gross) and Rs 6.80 Cr (Share) worldwide. However, there is a dip in collections on the second day and the film minted about Rs 4.4 Cr (Share) & Rs 5.6 Cr (Gross) in the two states and around Rs 9.9 Cr (share) & Rs 12.8 Cr (gross) collections worldwide.
Fortunately the long weekend (with Monday being a holiday on the eve of Independence Day) might add to the advantage of the film where the film is expected to mint around Rs 20 Cr in the first four days.
Though the film couldn’t win with content, Venky has scored a solo commercial hit after a long while.
