Last minute legal tensions and allegations are not new to big budget films and they surmount just when the film is ready for release.
Ashutosh Gowariker's magnificent epic Mohenjo Daro is facing a similar situation now. A writer named Akashaditya Lama filed a case on Mohenjo Daro's team by alleging that the story was copied from a play penned by himself. He claimed that the title along with script was copied from his work and went to Mumbai High Court in the month of June.
But the court has given judgment in favor of Mohenjo Daro team and said that there is no conclusive evidence proving his copyright. A fine of Rs.1,50,000/- has been charged on him. But the unnerved writer is determined to fight for his cause and take it to bigger level.
