Abhishek Pictures is one of the happening distribution giants in the Telugu film industry. This distribution house founded by Abhishek Nama shot to fame with the distribution of Telugu movies like Srimanthudu, Rudramadevi, Nannaku Prematho, Supreme and Kabali in the two Telugu states amidst a cut throat competition.
Interestingly this distribution company is growing big with each passing day and it has now evolved into a production company taking the entire industry by surprise with a special feat. Abhishek Pictures announced five projects at a time and the sheer versatility is their pride. Here are the interesting projects:
1. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ third film under the direction of mass director Boyapati Srinu. Lanky beauty Rakul Preet Singh is female lead in the flick. Top technicians like DSP & Rishi Punjabi (cinematography) are already onboard for this commercial entertainer and the regular shoot will kick start from the month of September.
2. Second film in Swamy Ra Ra combination (Nikhil-Swathi-Sudheer Varma). This is touted to be the sequel of the super hit crime comedy Swamy Ra Ra. The regular shoot will commence from September.
3. Kshanam movie fame director Ravikanth Perepu’s next with Adivi Sesh & Adah Sharma in the leads. This film has been titled Gudachari and the first schedule of shoot will start from the last week of August.
4. Pre-production work is going on for the most awaited biopic of the legendary Badminton Star Pullella Gopichand. The titular role shall be played by none other than Sudheer Babu and this has been one of his dream projects. This Telugu-Hindi bilingual will hit the floors as soon as the script is finalized.
5. Not just the above, Abhishek Pictures is on the upfront for powerful collaborations as well. They are now joining hands with Bollywood production giants like Phantom & Reliance for the Telugu remake of Hunterr starring Avasarala Srinivas in the lead. London Dreams movie fame Naveen Medaram is directing this adult comedy in Telugu and the first schedule is already done.
