Bollywood actor Salman Khan got a huge relief from two separate cases regarding the 1998 Killing of Blackbuck and a Chinkara.

Going into the details, Salman Khan was booked under the Arms Act and Section 51 of Wildlife Protection Act for allegedly involved in poaching a blackbuck and two chinkaras in two separate incidents in September 1998. The actor was initially sentenced to a one and half year imprisonment by a trail court in Jodhpur. The sentence was later challenged by Salman in a sessions court that later moved to Rajasthan High Court. The High Court finally acquitted Khan from the two 18yr old cases today giving Khan a “benefit of doubt”.

Earlier Salman was sentenced for five years imprisonment in this case by a lower court in 2006. However, the 50yr old actor came out clean in this case as well (after being acquitted from the 2002 Hit and Run case last year). “Sallu Bhai” fans are indeed celebrating this verdict!
