Gundejaari Gallanthayyindey was one romantic entertainer that cemented Nithiin’s comeback with Ishq movie. This introduced a talented director like Vijay Kumar Konda to the world.
However, his second attempt Oka Lailaa Kosam with Naga Chaitanya and Pooja Hegde in the leads was a box-office dud and brought Vijay to square one. From then onwards the young director was waiting for a third chance to prove his mettle.
He was indeed focused on doing a sequel to his hit film Gundejaari Gallanthayyindey with none other than Nithiin. But since Nithiin opted out from the project (for unknown reasons), Vijay is now planning to materialize the project with a Mega hero. As per latest reports, Vijay Kumar is doing a project under Geetha Arts productions but the lead cast hasn’t been finalized yet.
Well we need to wait and see whether this is the much anticipated GJG 2 and if so which Mega hero would sign the project! As of now, none of them is free (including Allu Sirish). Good luck Vijay!
