Avasarala Srinivas is a sensitive, sensible and talented young man who proved his mettle as an actor (with his debut Ashta Chemma movie) and director (with debut venture Oohalu Gusagusalade) as well. His distinguished comedy timing and natural acting earned him a niche fan base. Well the actor in him has surprised us with a negative shade in Nani-Indraganti’s recent release Gentleman. But his decision to play a sex addict has indeed taken the industry by surprise.
As per sources, Srinivas will be playing the lead role in the official Telugu remake of Hindi adult comedy Hunter directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. Chennai beauty Regina Cassandra will be playing one of the three female leads in the flick. Well this is the story of a sex addict and his lustful journey. But Srinivas Avasarala has quite a contrary image with good following especially in the family audience. Moreover he has lined up films Jo Atchyuthananda (with Nara Rohith) & Nani as well.
At this juncture, this is indeed a bold move from Srini. We will have to wait and see whether he can succeed in this contrasting realm as well.
