Two phenomenal films that have occupied a permanent space in the public’s mind are Kabali & Baahubali. While Kabali is hitting the screens this July 22, the second instalment of the historical hit Baahubali: The Beginning will release on the 17th of April, 2017. Interestingly, pre-release business for Baahubali:The Conclusion movie has already kicked off and here is an interesting update.
Going into the details, a distribution company named K- Entertainments bagged the overseas rights of Baahubali: The Conclusion movie for a whopping R 35Cr. This isapparently a record price for the overseas rights of any regional Indian film and interestingly the same distribution company has bagged the distribution rights of Baahubali 2 in all the three South Indian languages Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam.
Given the box-office performance of Baahubali 1 and the demand over the second edition, this deal is an expected one. Meanwhile the shooting of Baahubali: The Conclusion is progressing at a brisk pace in Ramoji Film city!
