Baahubali: The Beginning was an epic hit in the history of Indian cinema which set multiple box-office records as well. Just like Sachin Tendulkar’s records in cricket, it is a popular belief that those records are unprecedented and can be broken by none in near future.
But Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s latest offering Sultan has finally broken Baahubali’s first week box-office collection record. Going into the details, Sultan zoomed into the ‘Rs 200 Cr’ club in the first week itself thus breaking Baahubali’s record of Rs 185 Cr in the first seven days. Meanwhile Sultan movie seems to have no stopping at all as it is seen cruising into the Rs 300 Cr club as well surpassing his previous movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan collections.
Well trade pundits opine that Salman Khan has reached a stage where even his flop film rakes in Rs 100 Cr mark easily! We have to wait and see how many more records Sultan will create by the end of its run.
