Nothing came easy for Megastar Chiranjeevi right from the early days of his career. His upcoming comeback film #Chiru150 (tentatively titled Kathilantodu) is not an exception. Initially it was the director issue, later the story copy right controversy and now the heroine hunt.
However, the film unit cruised ahead and completed its first schedule successfully. Director VV Vinayak canned the introduction scenes, action sequences & comedy scenes with Ali due to the unavailability of the lead actress. The second schedule is expected to kickstart in about 10 days and the heroine is not finalized yet.
Well, heroine hunt for Megastar Chiranjeevi at this juncture of his professional career is indeed a tough row to hoe. Young heroines don’t suit him and senior heroines like Anushka, Nayantara and Shriya are quite busy now. Producer Ram Charan & team has apparently tried some Bollywood actresses like Nargis Fakhri as well but backed off with remuneration issues. As a matter of fact even they don’t suit Chiru quite easily and it is high time he chooses characters of his age and stature like his contemporaries Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mohan Lal, Mammooty etc. Since he is a “Megastar”, due to market demands producers can’t accommodate yesteryear heroines too.
The clocking is ticking very fast and #Chiru150 team needs to make some quick and perfect moves now. Meanwhile iQlik readers & fans… make some suggestions about the apt heroine for Chiranjeevi.
