Whenever you discuss about films that get dubbed from Tamil to Telugu, it usually involves big names like Chiyaan Vikram, Universal star Kamal Haasan, the supremely talented Suriya or the sharp eyed Karthi. But recently one movie came out of nowhere and grabbed full attention.
We are talking about the movie Bichchagadu and the reason for that is the phenomenal success it has seen in Tollywood. Interestingly, the film has music director turned hero Vijay Antony as the hero who was a stranger to Telugu audience. Anyhow, a new comparison has now come about Bichchagadu.
This has to do with the magnum opus Baahubali. Incidentally, Baahubali was made at a whopping Rs 160 cr and it managed to get Rs 600 cr. So, the profit margin is around 6 times but for Bichchagadu with just 40 lakhs investment 18 cr returns have come which means the rate of returns is high for Bichchagadu than Baahubali. Make the Math and you would know.
