You might make a movie that opens to positive reviews and good talk from the audience but what matters at the end of the day is the collection at the box office. If that is not strong then the good feel remains but pockets are going to be light. Usually, Mondays are the litmus test for any good film.
The same is now being discussed about the movie Gentleman featuring Natural Star Nani. Though it got very good reviews and response, reports reveal graph has dropped alarmingly on Monday. The reports from overseas are also quite surprising because wide gap is seen in Saturday and Sunday collections.
The consolation is, the film is doing reasonably well in the domestic market. The trade pundits are estimating that this movie’s full business run would be complete at the end of second week. Well, as long as the makers and buyers make some bucks out of it, everybody can breathe easy.
