Telugu film industry has lost yet another gem of an actor. Eminent stage and film actor JV Ramana Murthy is no more.
Going into the details, Ramana Murthy breathed his last a short while ago in a private hospital in Banjara Hills (Hyderabad) due a serious heart ailment.
Though he is the younger brother of revered actor late JV Somayajulu, he earned popularity through his stage plays like Kanyasulkam, N.G.O, Evaru Donga and Kappalu etc. He was known for even directing the legendary play Kanyasulkam and playing the role of ‘Gireesam’ in it for the maximum number of times. He debuted into films with M.L.A in 1957 and went on to feature in more than 150 films. His last notable appearance was in Thummeda (2013).
We express our deepest condolences and pray for his soul to rest in peace.
