SS Rajamouli – the most sought after director in India now and indeed the pride of Telugu film industry. Though he earned the image of a ‘maverick filmmaker’, Baahubali has taken his image to new horizons. SSR is known to be an exceptional storyteller and in a way his name turned an adjective for the common man!
We all admire him for the kind of filmmaker he is but you know what? Rajamouli initially wanted to be a hero! None other than SSR revealed this at the recent first look launch of Showtime movie. Interestingly, Rajamouli prayed to become a hero during his adolescence and it was his brother Kaanchi (director of Showtime movie) who guided him towards film industry. Following Kaanchi's advice Rajamouli entered into film industry and later rose to heights.
Sharing this interesting back story, SSR wished his brother and Showtime movie team all success ahead!
