SS Rajamouli and Krish Jagarlamudi are indeed the pride of Telugu cinema. They’ve made memorable films and are busy sculpting masterpieces Baahubali & Gautamiputra Satakarni respectively.
Though both the magnum opuses belong to different genres, comparison between these filmmakers is however inevitable. Both Krish and Rajamouli are masters at their craft but the magnitude of their films is different. However, inside sources say Krish has taken GPSK as a challenge and is determined to make the film on par with Baahubali in limited budget. Krish has brilliantly planned the film and inside talk is that the first schedule output has come out really well.
He has already proven his mettle by making a film like Kanche within Rs 25 crores budget. So no wonder hecan make a monumental historical film like GPSK within Rs 60 Cr. On the other hand, SS Rajamouli is a maverick who put Rs 250 Cr on a fantasy war drama like Baahubali and earned over Rs 650 Cr worldwide. Now the second part is demanding double investment but now even the common man is quite confident that the film will rake in more than Rs 1000Cr becoming yet another phenomenal hit in the history of Indian cinema.
Well both the directors shall deliver masterpieces but this comparison between the maverick filmmakers is somehow unavoidable until both the films are out.
