Reading the headline might make you feel that King Akkineni Nagarjuna’s son is at loggerheads with speed director Puri Jagannadh’s son. Well, it is not entirely true but to an extent yes. Both Akkineni Akhil and Akash Puri are vying against each other for what can be called as an important award.
Apparently, Akhil and Akash are among the contenders for the best debut hero in SIIMA awards. The nominations are quite competent because Vijay Devarakonda of Yevade Subrahmanyam is also there. As such, he got very good accolades so technically he is the deserving person.
But then, SIIMA awards are given to not just performers but also those who hold a certain popularity quotient. Given these parameters, many feel Akhil will get this award. SIIMA is getting ready to be held in the first week of June at Singapore so let us wait and see who is the chosen one.
