After the tremendous success of Srimanthudu, Mahesh Babu teamed up with Srikanth Addala for Brahmotsavam with all positivity and vigor. The film has the best of character actors and visual grandeur and looked quite promising right from the time it was announced. But when the D-day of its release arrived, the film couldn’t live up to the expectations.
Despite such star studded cast and breathtaking cinematography, the film couldn’t win hearts because of many factors. One such disturbing factor is the length of the film which prolonged for an indefinite time. Perhaps, this is the reason why the makers of Brahmotsavam are planning to trim the film for ten more minutes now!
The inside buzz says that the film was already trimmed by 12 minutes before its release and even then it looked painfully long. This must have prodded the makers to trim more unnecessary sequences in order to recover the damage.
