With the ongoing trend of crisp and fast paced films, the audience are encouraging only such films which are in good flow instead of unnecessary dragging. Perhaps this is the reason why filmmakers try to trim the film as much as possible and keep it simple. In fact, the duration of the film is the biggest factor which decides the success and crowd pulling aspects.
With Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam geared up for release, the sources say that the initial rush of the film went upto 2 hours 49 minutes. But the theatrical release will be only for 2 hours and 36 minutes which means that the film is trimmed for nearly 15 minutes.
Just like for Mahesh’s earlier film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, will the makers release those 15 minutes in YouTube? Or will it be added in the feature film based on demand? We will have to wait and see.
