When it is known that the top spot in Tollywood is occupied by power star Pawan Kalyan and superstar Mahesh Babu, it is obvious that whenever their films hit the theatres, a comparative analysis is done. This time, the condition is more favorable because their movies have just one month window.
Pawan came with Sardaar Gabbar Singh and though the film became a colossal dud, it did manage to grab the opening day record. Now, all eyes are on Mahesh’s movie Brahmotsavam which is hitting the screens on May 20. The major focus is on the opening day collections.
The film intellectuals say though Brahmotsavam is a class movie meant for family audiences, comparison will happen with Sardaar. At the moment, the winds are in favor of Sardaar because it was a mass masala potboiler but we will know the final result only during this weekend.
