Vamsi’s Ladies Tailor was a path-breaking film in the history of Telugu cinema. This is regarded to be a milestone film for Rajendra Prasad as an actor, Tanikella Bharani as a writer and Vamsi as a director.

Nearly after three decades, versatile filmmaker Madhura Sreedhar and director Vamsi are trying to bring in a sequel to this film in the name of 'Fashion Designer S/o Ladies Tailor'. This project has been on cards from couple of years and it is slowly materializing now. Though Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja was the intial choice, Raj Tarun eventually landed up in this prestigious remake. As per latest updates, the makers are in search for a new face as Raj Tarun is no more a part of this project. Raj Tarun apparently walked out of the project with differences in remuneration and other undisclosed reasons.

‘Ladies Tailor’ has a niche fan-base and as his son ‘Fashion Designer’ has high expectations to measure up. Hope Madhura Sreedhar & Vamsi make the right pick!
