Megastar Chiranjeevi who ruled the Telugu film industry as an uncrowned king for almost two decades was even known for receiving the highest remuneration in the country once.
Well trade equations changed with the advent of young stars and now Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and even Prabhas are known for receiving huge remunerations of over Rs 25 crores. But surprisingly, speculations are rife that Chiru is going to receive Rs 30 Cr as remuneration for his upcoming 150th film.
Ram Charan is the producer of this movie and if our inside sources are to be believed, he rounded up his father’s remuneration as Rs 30 Cr at the time of budget estimates. Well this might look quite unconvincing but industry onlookers opine that these remuneration figures are only for the sake of tax purposes and nothing will turn real as this is their own production.
However, we don’t have any official confirmation on this and if Chiru charges the same for his next film, he would certainly be the highest paid hero in TFI.
