You know pretty well that a lot of brainstorming and creative contemplation goes behind locking the title of a movie if it involves a big star. It is a big deal once the title is locked so it is obvious that it doesn’t get dropped or transferred anything. But something like that seems to have happened now.
Sometime ago, there was a strong talk that the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli’s next after his magnum opus Baahubali would be with superstar Mahesh Babu. The gossip mills also added that even the title is locked and it was Garuda. The very title created a lot of mania among the cine buffs.
However, the latest update is that Garuda has become the title of a Tamil film and this would have Chiyaan Vikram in the lead. Obviously, this would mostly be released in Telugu as well in a dubbed format given Vikram’s fan base in Tollywood. So, one thing is clear, Mahesh will not use Garuda anymore.
