We know Srikanth’s upcoming Mental Police movie has been making news for its controversial title. On a petition filed by Police Officers Association (of AP & TS Police) alleging that the title is demeaning the reputation of Police department, the High Court has recently issued a stay on film’s release until the title is changed.
On the other hand, the makers are also displaying a “no compromise” attitude on this issue. Latest reports reveal that they have decided to screen the film for the concerned police authorities (of both TS & AP Police Officers Associations) and seek their opinion. If they find the title objectionable and demeaning after watching the film, the makers are willing to change the title.
