Latest trade estimates report that Sarrainodu has zoomed into the prestigious Rs 50Cr (Gross) club with good openings and weekend collections. Touted as a mass entertainer, Sarrainodu has been strong in the B,C centers right from day one which is the biggest asset for the film. With over Rs 32.2 Cr (Gross) in Nizam+AP, Rs 8.5 Cr (Gross) in Rest of India & Rs 5.8 Cr in overseas, Sarrainodu has recorded Rs 46.5 Cr collections in its first weekend itself. Trade sources say the film has managed to find some decent occupancy on Monday & Tuesday that naturally pushed the film into the prestigious Rs 50Cr club.
However, with over Rs 53Cr (Gross) collections worldwide, Sarrainodu is currently standing as an average grosser and needs to cross Rs 80C to be termed a blockbuster, as per trade pundits. We need to wait and see if this Sarrainodu can actually make it a “blockbuster” (besides just having the song!)
