The kids of late 80’s and early90’s were fortunate enough to have enjoyed this famous song from the most loved epic The Jungle Book cartoon series that used to be aired in Doordarshan.
Well after almost two decades, this cartoon series has been made into a feature film by Walt Disney Pictures. This Jon Favreau’s directorial featuring Neel Sethi in the titular role of Mowgli released worldwide on the 4th of April and is already a sensation across the globe.
This film was making noise right from its trailer release. Now the film is having a dream run at the box-office giving its contemporary releases a run for their money. According to popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh, The Jungle Book crossed the prestigious Rs 100Cr mark in India and is cruising ahead with solid collections. Well the makers of The Jungle Book have tapped the right note and the film struck the right chord instantly winning the hearts of the Indian audience.
Well this movie also joined the elite club of Hollywood films that crossed Rs 100Cr mark in the Indian market.
