Cricket & Cinema are two big religions of our country. We have seen many sports films and films based on cricket (like Lagaan etc) were good entertainers. Unlike sports films, interestingly we are going to witness biopics on three great Indian cricketers.
Coming to the news, three biopic films on cricketers Mohd Azharuddin, Sachin & Dhoni are being made with the titles Azhar, Sachin: Billion Dreams & MS Dhoni: The Untold Story respectively. First Dhoni teaser (starring Sushant Singh Rajput) was released that drew the attention of the world. Then came Azhar (featuring Emran Hashmi) trailer which is quite promising. Recently came Sachin teaser which has shot expectations to the skies.
Interesting these three films are going to hit the screens in the year 2016 and already the release dates of Azhar (13th May) & Dhoni: The Untold Story (2nd September) were announced & the release date for Sachin movie is yet to be declared. This is quite a rare instance where we get to see three interesting biopics on three great cricketers of all time.
We have seen and actually grew watching them making wonders on the scoreboard. Now we have to wait and see what wonders their biopics will create at the box office.
