Sentiments are an inherent part of Telugu Cinema and it starts right from the muhurtam shot till the film release date, everything revolves around this! Just like positive sentiments which work out stunningly every time, some negative sentiments also make perfect sense especially when a big hero’s film is gearing up for release.
Mahesh Babu’s upcoming flick Brahmotsavam is also facing a similar issue now. As per the initial plan, Brahmotsavam was supposed to be an April release but now it got pushed to May. The biggest worry of fans now is that- whichever film of Mahesh releasing in May faced bitter failure in previous cases!
Films like Nani and Nijam bombed at the Box Office and coincidentally happen to be releases in May! One source strongly says that the makers of Brahmotsavam want to break this May jinx by releasing it anyway.
However, some sources say that as the sentiment leads to a bigger risk, the film might be pushed to June also! Brahmostavam is directed by family director Srikanth Addala and stars Kajal Agarwal, Samantha and Pranitha in lead roles.
