The evergreen and handsome hero Akkineni Nagarjuna has been choosing some very interesting projects right from the family drama Manam. The remarkable transformation in his personality is clearly seen in the way he is portraying these characters. While he entertained the audience as the feisty Bangarraju in Soggade Chinni Nayana earlier this year, the brilliance increased tenfold when he played the role of a quadriplegic in the latest emotional drama Oopiri.
Nagarjuna was showered with accolades for choosing such challenging role of Vikramaditya who develops a special bonding with his assistant Seenu played by Karthi. The actor visited an interesting chitchat with physically challenged people in Hyderabad and got quite emotional during the event.
The stylish Nag said that after acting as a quadriplegic in Oopiri, he has changed a lot as a person and started valuing freedom and life more than before. He also said that the troubles of physically challenged people are known to him because his mother was on a wheelchair for years due to arthritis.
Nag also emphasized on the fact that he made great friends with Karthi off the screen as well and hence the bonding was clearly evident in the film as well.
