To those of you who are aspiring to become filmmakers the first fundamental you need to remember is coming up with a title that can strike a chord with the audience. Many a times, some films don’t get that buzz owing to some bad and weak titles.
And if you can come up with titles that appeal to the family audiences then your film gets a much better chance of viewership. In Tollywood, a new trend seems to be emerging with titles getting a devotional touch. Currently, few films are on the floors with such titles.
Notable among them are Jo Achyutananada which has the expressive seductress Regina as the leading lady and helmed by Srinivas Avasarala. There is also Om Namo Venkatesaya which brings together King Akkineni Nagarjuna along with Romantic Rushi K Raghavendra Rao.
Some of the cine seniors are saying going by this trend, it won’t be a surprise if in future we see titles such as ‘Vaatapi Gana Pathimbhaje’ ‘Kondalalo Nelakonna’ or something like ‘Paluke Bangaram’. This is a positive trend because family audiences love such clean titles.
