Til date we had only director Teja in the news for slapping actors on set (of course "for perfection" as he cites). Now, we have Powerstar Pawan Kalyan also hit headlines for slapping his cast and crew but for variable (legitimate) reasons.
While PK was previously touted to have slapped his co-director for showing rushes to an outsider, he has reportedly slapped popular comedian "Shakalaka" Shankar for an indiscipline act.
Going into the details, Shankar was informed to come to the set at 9AM yesterday but he came by 12PM (for reasons best known to him). Even after an initial counselling, Shankar apparently took it a lighter vein and displayed an amateur behaviour. Much to the astonishment of the rest of the cast and crew on the sets, irked Pawan Kalyan slapped Shankar before everyone. Unable to take the humiliation, Shankar left the sets. Later his Jabardasth friends had to convince and bring him back to the shoot.
Well incidents like these are quite common in the industry and many even turn besties after such incidents. Hope and wish PK & Shankar also bond well soon.
