It is in fact a record amount for any Tamil film to be insured. Given the scale and magnitude of the project, Robo 2.0 producers Lyka Productions have insured the film for such a huge amount.
While Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is playing the antagonist, I movie fame Amy Jackson is the lead lady opposite Thalaiva Rajinikanth. The "Indian James Cameroon" Shankar is leaving no stone unturned to carve this film into a coming of the age visual wonder on Indian celluloid.
