From many years Tollywood has faced flak that it believes more in escapist cinema than realistic cinema. The other criticism has been about how heroes have this urgency to prove themselves as mass heroes and their constant attempts to do only routine formulaic entertainers.
But all this is now changing with a new breed of heroes who are attempting something different and are keen to do variety roles. The best example for that is the variety hero with baritone voice Nara Rohith. Right from his debut, Rohith has been coming up with some interesting flicks.
Now, he is all set to arrive with not one or two but four movies which are different from each other. First in the list is Tuntari which will see him in comic role. This is followed by Savitri which is a rom-com and then there is Raja Cheyyiveste which is hardcore action while Appatlo Okkadundevaadu is a period film of the 80s. Great job Rohith!
