The aftershocks of bifurcation are now settling in Telangana but it must be said that the situation is not the same in Andhra Pradesh. While the administration is toiling hard to make things happen, a large focus also fell on Tollywood and whether it would also shift its base from Hyderabad.
In that aspect, a talk began making rounds about Film Nagar coming up in the new capital city of Amaravati. Apparently, senior actor and politician Murali Mohan has got many lands in Amaravati so some of them began to feel he will convert those lands into filmnagar in that place.
However, the rationalists have quashed this as a baseless thought. They have declared that Film Nagar will never happen in the near future. They also remind that Tollywood shifting from Chennai to Hyderabad was possible because the latter is a big city so scope was there but it is not the same with Amaravati for a long time.
