Natural Star Nani is riding on success with back to back hits right from Yevade Subramanyam to the recent Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha.

KVPG has bagged a hit talk right from the first show but trade pundits wondered if it would set the cash registers ringing like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy did! Though KVPG is a theoretical hit, trade pundits have a different story. According to latest reports, KVPG is a hit for producers and a flop for distributors. It was made on a budget of Rs 14 Cr (including publicity expenses) and sold out to the distributors for over Rs 16 Cr.

According to the latest trade reports, KVPG collected only Rs 12Cr (share) and is running with a deficit of more than Rs 3Cr. If the distributors have to enter safe zone then KVPG should run consistently for two more weeks and with new films hitting the screens this weekend, KVPG is only going to have a fat chance.

Well in most cases, the producers are safe and it is the distributors who turn victims. Hope Nani’s upcoming films make the distributors happy.
